My son is a twin and it was surprising to find out about this syndrome when he was diagnosed (october 2nd). The prednisone took a week to start working and his swelling has just getting back to normal. I am also concerned about the side effects we were told about due to the steriods. Shannon

My 22 month old was just diagnosed with MCNS last week as well. Although he doesn't care for the taste we've been getting it into him by offering it in a variety of ways - number one right now being to drink it from a straw out of a medicine cup. I just got a new batch and now have them flavored (a different flavor in each bottle, which lasts about a week).
