Insomnia

Does anyone have any suggestions that have worked to help their child sleep while on heavy doses of prednisone. My son is 6 and has had Nephrotic Syndrome for the last 5 years. He cannot fall asleep. When he finally falls asleep he tells me in the morning that he didn't sleep at all. I am worried with him starting Grade 1 in Sept that it will affect his education. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
