my 4 yr. old son went in the hospital three times in Nov. for a sinus infection, that he had, had on and off for weeks. on the third visit he was swollen and dehydrated and admitted to the hospital where he was diagnosed with NS. his Steroids seemed to work until he was weened off, at that time his protien came back. Every time he went back on the prednisone it took him longer for his remission. he just recently had a Biopsy because the Doc. was sure it was Steroid resistant NS. the lab results came back saying Igm deposit Minimal change NS. He told me not to worry, but easier said then done. So I jumped online to find the only things about this disease ended in Kidney faliure. I'm Freaking out, can't sleep, can't eat, If anyone has any words of wisdom or has a child with the same condition please get back to me, I really need to talk to someone besides his doc.
