Last Friday we were able to get out and had some luck with a close by wooden wreck. A couple Sea Bass and lobster would be the catch today. 46* and 20 foot Viz were reported at about 70 ft.
Saturday 6/1 Full boat headed out to the reef for some fish and lobsters. A lot of new mussel growth was spotted and some very large Tog that will be dealt with next month. Couple Sea Bass and a bunch of lobsters for the haul. A lot of eggers were re-seated within their holes for future considerations. 15-20 ft Vis reported and still cold at 46-48*.
Sunday 6/9 With the forcast of small craft until 2am our original destination of the Stolt was cancelled and a less than full boat would take advantage of a fair days fun. Surface conditions were outstanding at less than 2 ft. Diving conditions not the best but certainly doable. Vis was maybe 5 foot (but bugging was the theme today anyway) still cold at 46-48* reported. A very stiff current at the surface to around 30 foot was a nuisance. Good haul today 11 lobsters harvested and many more molested. 2 nice Sea Bass would round out the days haul........not bad for a day we did not think we would get wet. Forgot to mention we found a nice piece of a brass fitting......that cleaned up quite nicely. I will post pictures shortly.......
We have one positve and one maybe for Thursday, need at least 2 more to make it a go.
We need a couple more for Saturday to make that a go.
Sunday has one maybe and is wide open.
If you want to get wet, give the shop a call @ 610-631-2288
We look to be full for Saturday 6/15 and could use a couple of divers for Sunday 6/16 (good way to spend Fathers Day). We have some already committed to next Thursday 6/20, but need a few more to make it a go.
Still have to say.....glad we didn't get faked out!
check out the second pic

The swirls are from the back of the boat and may be able to give you an appreciation for just how stiff the surface current was running!
An event........

I know this will be hard to believe........but there is a report that a former diver who now finds himself with a single digit handicap may in fact grace the gunnel's of the Tuna once more.....this will be a momentous occasion. I will post updates as soon as they become available! I understand that a 2 iron can be used effectively to subdue sea creatures....but I will have to see it to believe it!!!!!!!
