This past weekend we made it offshore to the Bidevind on Sunday. We got brass! A window and a porthole were liberated from the seafloor. All in all a good day for the first offshore trip of the season.
This weekend we have the Resor planned for Saturday. There are only 2 spots left so don't wait too long. Contact Capt Dan 732 232 7878 to reserve you place. Saturday June 15th - RP Resor (130 fsw)- Open Boat We had great conditions last time out to the Resor. Join us as we visit this NJ favorite that was sunk during WWII by a U-boat. This is further out than the typical dive sites so conditions are often better here. A lot of scallops came up last time out. The following weekend we have a lot going on. There are two charters on Saturday with the Scuba Connection and another offshore trip planned for Sunday. Saturday June 22nd - Algol ( 70 - 140 fsw) - The Scuba Connection (908 359 1250)
The Algol is part of the artificial reef system, sunk in 1991. It is intact and sits upright on the bottom. There is lots of structure on this wreck. Call the Scuba Connection to reserve your spot.
If you or your friends have been wanting to try NJ Diving, this is your chance. We will head out to one of the inshore artificial reef sites for one dive. This is a low cost way to give it a try with lots of support. Call the Scuba Connection to reserve your spot.
Sunday June 23rd - 56 Mile Wreck (185 fsw) - Open Boat
Join us for out next trip offshore to this wreck. It does not get visited often. There are only a couple of spots left for this trip, so don't wait too long. There are not many opportunities to get out there. Call Capt Dan (732 232 7878) to reserve your place.
We are getting into the heart of the schedule now. We have some trips coming up to some of the wrecks that are not visited often like the Durley Chine, the Virginia, U-869. Check out the schedule on the website for dates. Some of these already have waiting lists, so make your plans soon.
If you know any one who wants to be added to the mailing list, please respond to this message with the e-mail address and we will take care of it. The boat is located at Hoffman's West Marina, 608 Green Ave, Brielle, NJ, 08730. We are midway down the slips closest to the railroad bridge. The season is well underway. Looking forward to seeing you out on the boat. Safe Diving!
