Well, it seems 2012 is following in the steps of 2011.
Here are some recent dives from May and June 2012
5/20 City of Athens: Blown Out. 5/21 City of Athens: Blown Out. 5/30 City of Athens: Blown Out.
6/9-6/11 VA Beach Eureka over night: F@@ked, by a greedy boat owner who at the 11th hour cancelled our charter (deposits had been paid etc), so he could charter the boat for more $$ they same period of time. Let it be known that this is NOT the fault of the folks running the trip. This was pure greed and bad biz ethics of the boat owner is VA Beach. "The Miss Lindsey" What really hurts is the is the 4th time I've tried to get on the Eureka and looks like we would have had 2-3 days of 2-4 which is pretty nice when your 60 miles out looking to dive every 3 hours or so round the clock.
Oh well, I saved $1200-1400 in total with all these blow outs etc and Happy 43rd b-day to me today, guess I'll go buy a bottle of gin w/ my savings as I put my family on a plane to FLA for the next week as the expected me to be diving.
Stay hedged, Brian

Hey I sorry to hear about the canceled dive but at least I know now there are others who feel like I do when I don't get to go diving. I am surprised about the Miss Lindsey . I have dove with them several times and have had pretty good experiences. Maybe the economy has something to do with it but I will definitely think twice about going with them again.

Guess I could be a wise guy and have some not so funny remarks.......but considering the your woes of late.......I'll just say; "HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OLD FART"
Just remember: Your 40's are the old age of your youth and your upcoming 50's is the youth of your old age......anyway you look at it....OLD seems to be a theme.
See ya Saturday Brother, killing a couple Lobsta's and a couple Sea Bass will make all the hurt go away!...or at least hold you over till ya get more booze!
