Mo, you lost me as "almost a NJ dive boat." I understand the crews explanation of hanging it up. Any of you remember the Robin II out of Barnegat Light with Capt. Bob Archambault? It was pretty much the same scenario. The 45' crew boat went back to the oil patch years ago. Capt. Bob bought a smaller 35' boat to scale back then sold that, the Robin III. Moved to NC, bought a fast 6 pack and was unable to accrue enough interest from divers to maintain the boat. He sold that and is now enjoying retirement diving occasionally with Olympus Dive Charters and here with me when he comes up for a week in summer.
