Re: numbers running Archived Message Posted by Mo on 1/3/2006, 4:35 pm, in reply to "numbers running" That's when they have a list of numbers (GPS) of reported snags on the bottom (reported by fishing boats usually) and it's always fun to dive on a set of numbers not knowing what you are going to find. Odds are that it's never been dived before and should be full of diver-ignorant critters. One spot that we hit only a couple of times a year because of the distance was (yup....past tense) full of lobster, fish (of all kinds) & scallops. Both the fish and the bugs were very ignorant of divers so they were a snap to grab and they were very large & plentiful. 90-ish feet of water and always superb visibility too!
