We headed out of Barnegat Inlet this morning and headed South East to a small wreck in about 85 ft. Bottom vis was a very dark 15 to 20. A light was necessary just to see the bottom clearly. Bottom temp about 57F and surface was about 75. The top 30 ft or so were pea soup. Some nice fluke and lobster came up.
Next stop was a little inshore where more fluke, tog and lobster came up. A few feet shallower made for more light and better vis.
Lastly stopped on a wreck in about 55 ft and a light was not needed . More lobster and fluke. A great day on the water and everyone got the fluke they have been waiting for. Lobsters were not the main goal today.
