On Saturday, 19 September, Treasure Cove got out with Captain Rich and the crew of the John Jack to pay a visit to the RP Resor. Visibility on the bottom at ~120' was about 25-30 feet with plenty of light. The pea soup down to 40' that has been present inshore this season was absent this far off land. Temp on the bottom was 52F on my NiTek He. We tied off above the gun on the stern. With no current on the the first dive a couple of adventurous souls swam to the bow (and back). Current picked up for the second dive. Calm seas were prevalent out on the wreck. Breakfast was served on the way out and lunch on the way in courtesy of the John Jack. The food was quite good as usual. Very nice day on the water. Lobster were boated.
