On this beautiful Saturday, a group of four divers plus Pennie Eells as topside support visited the mine. John spotted another 1920's car, and salvaged an additional hubcap, this time it was an Essex vehicle. Bob Thomas and I searched, along with Bill Ahrens, along the south east wall, right under the dive platform, for the victim, but alas, still no sign of her. I am convinced that if she is located, it will be a diver just stumbling upon her, as the silt and leaves are so thick. A second dive was done, this time descending from the main line in the center of the site. Earlier in the day, I moved a larger steel buoy over the Monte Carlo, now there are two substantial ones, one for staged tanks, the big one for divers. The line is taught, all the way to 190' Thanks again for corporate support from: DUI Inc., Subgravity, Halcyon, Juergensen Marine and Blue Water Divers!
