Our coastal and ocean pastimes are threatened by rising sea levels, ocean pollution, and offshore oil and gas exploration. Surfrider will lead workshop participants in a discussion about where data shows non-consumptive recreation taking place in New Jersey and opportunities to increase protection of these activities.
Participants will then have the opportunity to voice their thoughts and experiences and recommend which areas of New Jersey need the most protection for their particular recreational activity.
Please RSVP to mgove@surfrider.org if you would like to join us, and let me know if you have any questions. Also, feel free to forward to other surfers, divers, kayakers, etc. that you know--hope to see you there!
