In our quest of side tunnels, I pushed down a new shot line that landed in the soft silt at about 310'. With winter closing in on us, time was limited to continue deep exploration, and this might have been our last attempt for the year 2014. One EMT and two paramedics joined our group on this day, Jim Phillips, Teddy Garlock (also my support diver) and Kayleigh Wood. Many thanks for Jim and Kayleigh, who also helped ferry out the dive gear after the push dive. Bottom time 20 minutes at 310'-320', with a TRT of two hours and eight minutes, according to Kayleigh. The DUI "Blue Heat" heated undergarment system continues to prove itself as the best out there. I used the heated torso, back, gloves and booties without fail. Juergensen Marine delivered my Hammerhead Extreme on time after a routine checkup, as I approach 430 hours on the Rev D/ Extreme combination, I sent it in for a look over. DUI also replaced my CLX 450 drysuit zipper in quick time, as everyone knew winter was approaching. While I was not able to clearly find a side tunnel, it was a good effort by all those involved. Jim waited on the surface in the zodiac with a bottle of O2 dangling at 20', and emergency gear just in case, and Kayleigh on the platform watching the whole site. John Eells dove under the platform to test the silt layer with a aluminum tent poles, to see how far he could penetrate before hitting stone. Teddy Garlock met me at 130', on my ascent, to check to see if I was OK. I couldn't ask for better support and enthusiasm from the team and vendors.
