Friday the 21st – OPEN – Full
Saturday the 22nd – OPEN –Full
Sunday the 23rd – OPEN – Maurice Tracy 65’ The Tracy is an interesting little wreck with the majority of the structure behind the two massive boilers but there are small patches that will lead you to the bow if you’re looking for lobsters. I have some interest in Sunday but will need a few more to make this go. It'll be a shame to miss a day with great weather
Next Week
Wednesday the 26th – Benson/Brass Spike – Atlantic Divers The Benson was an old sailing ship from which brass and dead eyes have been recovered in the past, however it is currently best known as a scallop wreck. It will be interesting to see what the storm may have uncovered. The Brass Spike wreck has always lived up to it’s name and if you get in the right spot will produce lots of spikes. Gene can be reached at Atlantic Divers 609-641-7722
Thursday the 27th – OPEN – Lobsters/Fish Yet another new/old group has me on Thursday. Actually these are a couple of divers from an old Philadelphia area club that no longer charters boats and they’d like to get back out and look for fish and lobsters. If you’re interested, particularly if you’re comfortable doing “buoy dives”give me a call as we could use a few more to make these trips.
Saturday the 29th – Tridents – Lobsters/Fish And they’re back – This will be the north Atlantic Tridents first dive of the season. As always we’ll tie in for one (possibly two as this is the first dive of the season) and spend the rest of the day doing “buoy dives” In that I’ve mentioned it twice I suppose I should explain the term “buoy dives” These are done on small to very small wrecks/rock piles where once I’ve spotted the location I’ll drop a weighted line with a buoy on it. Come around make a pass on the buoy and drop three to four divers. At this point the divers descend the line without touching it, if they pulled on it they’d move it off the spot. They then have a maximum of fifteen minutes to find as many fish or lobsters as they can and then do a free ascent. I’ll then come back in and pick up the individual divers. As you can tell this is not for the new or inexperienced diver as a matter of fact this isn’t for many experienced divers. Bret can be reached at 973-876-5896
Sunday the 30th – Stolt 130’ – Lakeland Divers- The Stolt is always a popular destination and fills fast. If you’re interested call Cindy at Lakeland 973-887-0194 and reserve your spot.

NOTE: One thing to keep in mind is that OPEN destinations are really just suggestions on my part, unless the trip is scheduled as a “Special” but If you have somewhere you want to get to let me know and if we have the divers and the weather that’s where we’ll head.
For any of the OPEN boats or if you'd like to get out on any day not listed I can be reached at either 973-887-DEEP (3337) or my cell 201-401-4608 Keep in mind that although The 2013 schedule is on-line there are very often additions to the published schedule.
We are always looking to put together weekday trips. If you're interested in diving during the week, let me know which day/days work for you and we will try to put a boat together.
