Got a chance to go to the Arundo on Saturday via Dan and crew on the Independence. A freighter torpedoed in 1942, the Arundo is one of the really nice wrecks off of New Jersey. The day started off moderately choppy but calmed down quite a bit. Surface temperature was quite warm with excellent visibility and lots of little jellyfish. The bottom was about 20' with ambient light and a lot of particulate in the water. My computer said temp. was 48 at 125 feet. There was no current top to bottom. Boat was full and a very nice day was had by all. Fish, lobster and artifacts were boated. Dove with my buddy Paul - please see pics below:
