There was a bit of roughness just in the mouth of the inlet but once we got past that it was just a swell.
We first headed toward the Garden State North reef to hit a nearby wreck. In 65 ft of water we had about 15 ft of vis . Not a whole lot of sea food on the wreck but several big fluke came up.
Next we headed further South but the wreck we were heading to was occupied. We headed a few miles further and the next wreck was also occupied. We figured what the hell and steamed a few more miles and finally found a wreck that was open in just under 100ft. I guess it worked out good. John was the first in and first up. He had a bag full of bugs up to 5lbs. Jack was next and was taking pictures but managed several big fluke and found a nice deadeye. At that point I headed down and Cheryl was just coming up but waited to point out 3 lobster and one was about 5 lbs. I managed 2 but the third got away. I continued to swim around and there were lobster everywhere as well as more fluke. I came up with a bag full and one big guy that I released . 30ft of vis
Since we don't like to get back in too late on Sundays we headed back after the second dive. Several fluke limits, at least one diver (John ) also limited on lobster ( I got close) and a nice deadeye (Jack) were recovered.
