Bottom conditions were pretty good with 15 to 20 ft of vis. A few lobster, sea bass and 1 fluke came up.
Next stop was Jack's favorite two hole wreck (H. rush)where we found it very dark on the bottom. This may have been due to the storm that passed over. We did manage some lobster. Jack had the biggest lobster at just over 5 lbs and it was just barely legal. I had one about 1/8 under the legal max and we all managed a bunch of regular legal bugs. We had hit this wreck earlier in the season and found that a lot of the sand had been cleaned off and a lot of stuff was exposed. We had intended on going back to do some recovery but did not see as much stuff this time. I guess it was too dark or we were too focused on lobster.
Welcome Jim the new guy on the boat who joined Jack, Harley and I on Sunday. Bob , you missed a good but not great day and there was a nice iron wood artifact on the first wreck with your name on it. Its still there so maybe next time.
