We managed to beat the bad seas and weather by a few hours and got out today 7/19/12. We ran down the hill a bit to a set of numbers that we wanted to check. Top side viz good at 20+ and same on the bottom, temps in the mid 50’s at 82 feet. The snag produced some bugs, sea bass and fluke. Not a digging wreck. Pretty good surface current and building seas by the end of the dive. We pulled the hook after one splash and started north before it got real snotty. Stopped at the emerald and had same on the viz and temps. Being the lone digger, I managed to trash the viz as much as possible w/ the scooter. No junk found this time, but I was digging in an area I was not very familiar. A few more bass and a trigger were boated. By the end dive the east wind was blowing hard, currents were cranking and seas were 4 foot with a solid number of 5-6 to make the ladder climb sporty . Next stop the Asfalto on the 25th I hope. Stay hedged, Brian
