It doesn't get much better than Sunday's dive on the Algol. Treasure Cove boarded the boat and RJ along with 10 others sat comfortably on the John Jack as we made the hour long run to the Algol. The Big Red Boat showed off her stuff as all sat very comfortably in the main salon or took a nap on one of the boats spacious bunks. Once on site the crew made short work of setting her in place and getting the dives into the water. Divers reported piles of Flounder on the bottom and plenty of mussels were bagged for the bringing home. While divers enjoyed a leisurely surface interval, freshly cooked hot dogs, sauerkraut, beans and salads were enjoyed by all and to top it off, freshly cut pineapple, and baked brownies were served by crew for a divers delight of an afternoon. The short hop back to the dock put everyone back in their cars by 400PM for their journey home. Bottom temps were 50 to 52 degrees depending on whose computer you checked and viz's was an outstanding 20 to 25 feet. Truly a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Old friends, new friends and a great dive. Check out the John Jack for it's dive season schedule and join us for your next great dive adventure. You won't be disappointed.
