The Mohawk usually does not disappoint, so off we went. Seas were a little bumpy but not too bad.
After a 20 minute ride (it was bumpy) we were on site with surface water looking pretty good. 10-15 ft stayed consistent all the way down for dive one.
Temp was running about 50* top to bottom. Good bug day, 7 or 8 for the day and many more molested. Loads of smaller Tog and lots of very big Sea Bass spotted.
There was even 2 reports of an elusive Monkfish...........that nobody shot???????????
Dive 2 saw viz improve to 15-20 with better light penetration.
Early start had us back around 11am and that was awesome.
We have some interest for a little further off shore next weekend (Saturday) and there may be a spot or two still available. Capt Bill says we get 4 we go, if ya wanna get wet and have some fun give the shop a call @ 610-631-2288
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of the diver who passed this weekend and also to Capt Al and his crew!
