Capt Bill had OK'd a site the previous week and it did not disappoint. After a very short run we were on site and tied in quickly. Water was about 48* and at least 15-20 ft viz. The wreck was loaded with fish.......LOADED! Cooler was nearly over flowing at the end of the day. One large Cod, 6-7 winter flounder and the most TOG pulled on one day that I have seen. A special Kudo to one of our newer guys who got himself a real monster at well over 10 pounds and one lone bug would be the haul today. Several large bugs were spotted but way to deep to get at........sure broke a lot of hearts though, as many had "stories" What a great day to cap off the early TOG season. AND the BIG story of the day was another sighting of "Strippers"........loads and loads of 'em........at least this week we have video proof.
If I'm able to get the video feed I will post it. With these sightings 2 weeks in a row now, I'm kinda keeping my head up a little more than usual.
This upcoming weekends weather looks to be great with 80* temps and dry.................
Saturdays are getting hard to get on board, so I recommend calling in as early as possible. The TUNA will run any day we get 4 divers.
