It was decided to visit one of the Sailors. Got there in good time to very nice sea conditions maybe 1 ft.
Surface viz was excellent and stayed good all the way down to the bottom at about 15-20 ft.
Temps were running high 40's to low 50's depending on who you asked.
No Tog caught (some very small ones seen) loads of bugs seen in 2 zip code holes and 2 boated for the day.
Many very large Sea Bass seen......and an unusual sighting..........Strppers, who buzzed me most of my second dive and try as I could was not able to snag one....they are fast buggers. It was hypothesized that the Gillman's digging may have stirred up some sand eels which attracted them closer to the bottom.
Capt Bill marked them all through both dives........it was a very cool sight to see!
Got back a little later than normal due to a minor fuel line issue, but all in all another fine one on Lake Atlantic.
As always;
DIVE SAFE/ DIVE OFTEN
Capt Bill says we get 4 we go! Give the shop a call @ 610-631-2288 and sign up to get wet, one more weekend for Tog.
