Well the forecast looked good so I put the word out and the boat filled to capacity right away. Unfortunately the forecast was wrong. We were greeted with 15 to 20 mph S winds and nasty ocean. We decided to head out to the Sea Girt wreck where we had 41 F and about 30ft of vis. No keeper lobster, fish , etc for Kerry, Bob and Jack . Harry did not take his camera due to the rough conditions and the Bart, Stan team got some lead artifacts in the 6 to 8 oz variety. Since it was a bit rough I stayed on the boat and did not dive today. We headed in to some shallower sites and it was still nasty so we keep going to the dock and called it a day. Nice conditions on the bottom but not the top. Maybe next weekend we will get out again and may even head down to Barnegat for the summer before returning to Shark River for next winter.
