Jack was back from his time off from diving and he joined Robert Harris, Stan Zagliski, the infamous Bart from Gypsy Blood Fame and myself for Saturday's dive trip. We planned on going to the Delaware but a fishing boat beat us there so we decided to hit a snag in the area. Not a great idea as the snag only had about 2 ft of vis and a fishing net snagged on the site. The hook was soon pulled and we were heading to a local reef wreck to grab some mussels. On the reef we ended up with lots of fine mussels as well as 25 to 30 ft of vis and 42 f temps. Lastly we stopped on the NE sailor and had the same conditions as well. Todays haul included several keeper lobster, tog up to 10 1/2 lbs, a brass valve, many fine sinkers and good times. The surface was silky smooth in the am but got a little snotty in the pm. Surface temps very nice but a little breezy in the afternoon. We stopped to top up the fuel on the way back and we were lucky to get gas for only $3.88 per gallon and while we only added about 100 gallons the bill was $395.76. Thats right I said lucky as the price of fuel is destined to climb for the next several month. Just wait for the summer!!!!!!!!!
