Thankfully we had some good boating weather Sunday that allowed us to get out. The morning was not quite as calm as I had hoped but it did get better though out the day.
I had done some surf fishing Sat and was hoping the clean surf water might bode well for some shallow diving. So it was decided to turn South at the inlet and hit the Adriatic in about 65 ft. If we had good vis there we would then hit some even shallower wrecks. Well the vis was no more than 10 ft. We did see lots of small bugs and small fish but nothing outstanding. I was lucky enough to find a cage lamp (I figured all that stuff was long gone).
Next we headed to the Molassas Barge on GS reef North . This site was a little deeper at about 80ft and there was better vis. Some nice size tog and keeper lobster but nothing outstanding here either.
Lastly we stopped at a site just outside the inlet but the vis was nearly zero so we called it a day. It was a great day on the water and I hope many of you got out to enjoy it.
