We got out today and hit several wrecks in the nw barges area. Although the first two wrecks we hit were only about 1/2 mile apart the first was a dark 15 ft of vis and the second was about 25 ft and had good light to the bottom (65 foot depth). Bottom temps were about 63. Several lobster came up as well as some huge spade fish.
Next wreck was the Brick Barge where several more lobster came up but although there were lots of fish none were taken.
Lastly we tried the brass wreck inshore but the vis here was less than 1 foot.
Nice conditions in general today. Thanks Harley for supplying the snacks again today (excellent grapes). They were great but when do we get fresh shrimp cocktail again?
