After a day and night of howling wind and rain on Saturday, prospects for any decent diving on June 1 seemed remote. We headed to the Venturo Tug for an initial warm-up dive. All with reports of visibility ranging 25-30 ft had an excellent dive.
Our next stop was the Cranford Ferry with the same visibility. Some good-sized Sea Bass came up.
Our afternoon trip (the nostalgia dive) headed to the middle barge. Here there was a big difference in visibility ranging from 5 to 10 ft at most.
Blue Fathoms will be running every Wednesday at 6:30 pm to a local wreck. See updated postings for contact information or call me at 908-623-0824 for details.
