Posted by Dave Thanks for getting back to me... I have a Nikon D70S and I also use the 80-200mm 2.8ED lens with a 28-105 4.5/5.6 wide angle lens or a 70-300 4.5/5.6 for extreme telephoto situations. I shoot in raw, but have been a little disappointed in the amount of "post-processing" I've had to do. I've only really had one opportunity to shoot in full sunlight ( pretty cloudy around NE Ohio this time of year) and I found that my raw images were a little underexposed for the most part. I'm having a little trouble learning to trust the camera's ability to judge exposure. On cloudy days, I use the camera to pre-meter the light/exposure and go to full manual and open it up a stop or two from what the camera chose with decent results. Thanks Again,

Dave,
In all fairness to the camera though, the sun's angle this time of year is pretty low on the horizon, so it may not be indicative of what to expect (exposure wise) out of the camera once we move into the spring/summer months. I guess I'll just have to trying different things until I get this thing figured out and can learn to trust what results I'll get.
