The only other option is Cotton/lycra, which despite sounding like it's gonna take dye better because of the cotton, is *crap*. It's slightly fuzzy, and coloring tools sorta skid and skip over it so the lines have little jumps and gaps in them, and the color just doesn't go on as smoothly and wears off in semi-pill form. My first costume was cotton/lycra, I've messed with it once or twice since, and I *much* much prefer spandex without cotton in it.
