I live in Portland, OR now and was a player since my early days in Chicago in the 50's...that’s when my vision for the Dream Catcher glove began...and I carried it through my softball days until a knee injury put me out of the game a few years ago. Even at 50 I still held my own against all the young studs on my team and league, and was starting short stop on my men’s AA league team until I had to give it up. Anyone remember the game of "Burnout" ...at least that is what it was called when I was a kid. This game as a kid led directly to the ergonomic innovations in the Dream Catcher. The patented innovations center around eliminating hand damage to the palm and fingers from a hit or thrown ball, and 4 times the leverage applied to closing the glove around the ball.
