Mom and I are lucky, because we don't live in a low-lying area where rain can be a problem. However, our town always has a water deficit because the Town Humans are too cheap to hook into the state of Massachewsetts' main water supply. It goes rogue and taps into a cheaper, and less regulated, option. Plus, that water has to serve three towns, all of which need too much water to share. So, even if mom's town were to find itself with gazillions of days of rain or snow, there would be a shortage of water. Pretty stinky, if you ask me! But I'm fortunate in that I always have plenty of spit to use for my purrsonal hygiene needs.

: Hekko Callie Marie and good morning to you! We are sorry
: winter has returned to your area. We had two days of
: lovely spring weather, and then it started raining on
: Wednesday. It has continued to rain more or less
: (mostly more) since then. The ground is so full of
: water that now it can't soak up any more. The area
: creeks are overflowing their banks, and some of the
: lower areas are flooding. We don't have that problem
: near our house, thank cod!
: If you, or any other furs, want to come through the
: secret portal to our house, we can have a big nap pile
: on mom's bed. Even Oakley can come. We know he hides
: in his basement when it rains at his house, but he can
: hide under the blanket on mom's bed and then we can
: all pile up around him and on him. He will never know
: it's raining here!

: Hekko. Howareyouiamfinethankyouandyou. And you? Except
: Mother Nature is a tease. She gave me two days of
: summery weather, and now it is wintertime again. There
: is even new snow on the ground -- not enough to
: shovel, but more than enough to stink.
