Posted by Michael Bloom A little history here. After leaving M-T I became Coordinator of Cooperative Education at LaGuardia Community College, part of CUNY and then taught electronics at Suffolk County BOCES II in Oakdale. I left education to become a technical journalist and published many bylined articles on leading edge electronic technology (I was M-T's resident electrical engineer). Eighteen years ago I started a manufacturing business, Offshore Solutions, based in China (see www.oshore.com. The company builds everything from parts for General Motors to tools for Sears. I married shortly after I left M-T, a woman who actually dated the brother of an M-T student. (Does anyone know where Judy Goldberg is?) Four children later we've enjoyed an adventurous life. In 1989 we moved to Portland, Oregon (wagons westward ho) and as I write this I am at our beach house at Cannon Beach, Oregon; the last stop on Lewis & Clark's voyage of discovery. I'd love to hear from former M-T stutents and staff. You can email me at mbloom@oshore.com. It would be great to hear about how M-T affected your life and your way of viewing the world.

Hi everyone. This is Michael Bloom and I was an M-T "facilitator" from 1977 to 1979. Recently I located John Sherin through classmates.com and, much to my delight, I see that M-T is still alive and well in the hearts, souls and memories of those who were students and teachers. Looking through the 1979 photos reminded me of the trip we took to the FAA facility at McArthur Airport and the bonding experience of attending the Pocono Environmental Education Center. And it reminded me of sitting on the floor with my students, in a circle, me wearing toe-socks, and talking aout Love and Death.
