Alebua said he was happy that the police has re-grouped as a force, and is doing whatever they can to enforce the law. He said assistance is being sought from the force and government to ensure Keke and his followers are brought to justice to answer for their criminal activities. He warned Keke that he does not have the support of the majority of people of Guadalcanal, adding that innocent civilians have been forced to support him through intimidation. Alebua said GLF is an unlawful body, and followers of the organisation are doing so illegally. But he warned that a day will come when they will all stand trial to answer for their crimes.
