Those irises are nice. I always think they look a little like Sabal Minor from a distance. They especially look that way when they’re done blooming.
I hear you on not being used to flat terrain. We go to Columbus quite a bit to see their zoo and it is very flat there. It’s nothing but hills here 😂.
By the way bald cypress is a beautiful tree to me. They are very cold hardy too. There are some very large trees growing up here.
