Thanks for sharing the video Kevin. I removed about 5 fronds off my best boy and of course I'm still trying to nurse another one back to health after cutting off top of the crown due to spear pull. I guess thats what happens with little to no protection in z7a.
Oddly, ever few days I will add some H2O2 into the crown and I continue to get the fizz. Im thinking I may need to cut down a little deeper and likely will, after this redbud winter moves out.
A long range look for the rest of the month is showing a little cooler than we've been enjoying. Currently its 54* and NWS forcast 32* for tonight
and Weather.com 34*
but tomorrow night gets tricky, Im seeing everywhere from 22* to 31* for a low. NWS says 28* as does Weather. I guess I will throw a towel around the spears, and drag back into the house several potted tropicals on the porches and in the yard. Surely the cold won't damage the fronds of the palms, but I have bonnets
Have a great Sunday Kevin and Happy Saint Patricks Day
