Yep definitely a Great Blue Heron. So big and tropical looking but surprising how far north they're seen...I mean north of you. A beautiful sight to behold, as with the Weather - a July cool down!...who'da thought, Lol.
Hope you got some intense growth. Near 99F in parts of NJ and those warm nights too. And after such a slow start, it was needed!
