My low was 15F this AM, yesterday was 12F with a high of 30F. With the exception of four hours barely above freezing last Wed, I've had 176 hours below freezing since this event started. I'd have to check my records, but I believe that demolishes the vortex of '13-'14, and may be the longest stretch of below freezing here since the awful eighties. The big difference though, is that it wasn't below zero, the break point for most of what I grow. I expect by this time next week the damage will show, but I expect it to be cosmetic, one can only hope LOL.
