Not to be argumentative or grumpy or snarky, but I've known about the 'theory' of the shifting vortex for a lot of years, so nothing really new as far as I'm concerned. That's about all I'll say, because I don't want to get my post removed. It's okay to discuss how the weather/climate relates to growing, but not WHY the climate/weather is. I'll add this though. Probably 50 years ago (I've always been a weather geek) I read about the coming change in the weather. The past 100 years or so had been relatively stable, but scientists were seeing signs of major changes in the stability of weather patterns, with no reasons given for that change.
