will be used for. I thought you were asking for general ground cover mulch, but after reading Tony's response, I got to thinking that you might have meant to pile up inside an enclosure like your garbage can technique for the washy. If that is the case, I would definitely use the pine needles over the wood chips, but for a ground cover, I prefer the wood chips/shreds,or whatever. Sorry if I have totally confused anyone... Actually, I think I have already confused myself!!! LOL
