I normally have things in protection mode by halloween so this year is running about on schedule.
We had a couple of upper 20 lows recently but most all Basjoo look pretty decent. Orincos and El Saba took a beating and were chopped down or dug up for next season. Chinese bananas were chopped and covered.
It has warmed up into the 70's with lows in 40*'s-50*s for now but I think another cold spell may hit soon !
Expecting heavy rain for a couple of days.
Im curious what everyone will be concerned about this winter and how you will be protecting it.
My only concern is my neighbor getting it together and protecting those big palms I left behind when I sold him that house. He parks in the yard , sometimes right up to the trees.
Im just waiting for him to put an old washing machine on his porch and maybe some spare tire flower beds. arrrgggggg!
