I am uncovering later this evening. The rain is supposed to slack off by then I think. I uncovered mine here about 10 days ago and then had to recover last week as their was a threat of it being freezing here in North Knoxville possibly, but it never got below 35F and most of the time stayed in the upper 40's and 50's for highs. I figure Saint Patrick's Day will be a day not only to celebrate Irish heritage, but to uncover a nice palm tree!
Now the one at my mom's I chanced it a bit and left it uncovered since she is further south. So it's been uncovered like 9 or 10 days now and I do believe it has opened up it's spear somewhat and is trying to fan out as it seemed a lot more stiff this week and not so limp up at the top of it.
I believe we are ready for some serious growth Rob!
