That was the CBS Nashville Online Headline today.
I liked it , haha. Snow and freezing rain fell over the NW part of Tennessee and in the Cumberland Plateau along the northern tier bordering KY.
Late last night they even issued a Freezing Rain Warning but the lower highland valleys pnly dropped to 32*-33*f and I was spared. The uplands had Ice all over the place but it didnt stick to the roadways. A couple of weeks in the 70*s warmed the earth
.
By mid-morning the crap was gone and its smooth sailing ahead.
I actually will UN-CAN my big Washingtonia Robusta this Sunday. No freezing temps or moisture in the 12 day. With heavy rains and lows about 40* for tonight , I will wait till sunday and unwrap as the extended forecast call for very mild temps ahead.
I actually believe that Spring is here ,, The Tulip Magnolias are blooming now as are cherry , pear and many other bushes around the yards.
Its been a very long winter and Im glad its over.
