1973 Montego 351 RAM AIR
Strip/Street...or easy restoration project car.....
100% Rust free California car, NO RUST EVER, never seen winter (only been in Michigan for 2 years and always garaged) also has the factory paint dabs, chalk marks on undercarriage and original gold paint still on floor pans...........car has had 1 repaint back in the 80's in original color....but its faded and chipping off....
FRESH REBUILT..... STOCK 351 2V cleveland.....
original standard size dished pistons and Sealed Power rings, Sealed Power .010 main, .010 rod and cam bearings, ARP rod and main bolts, reproduction Cobra Jet cam, nos Cobra Jet valve springs, Comp Cam 10° valve spring retainers and keepers, valve job, roller timing chain, Sealed Power oil pump, Cobra Jet oil pan, new harmonic balancer, new water and fuel pumps, carb kit, Fel Pro gaskets, pertronix in distributor and pertronix coil...new plug wires..... Also..I did not paint the motor...left it original paint...so it matches the look of the car.....ALSO...the motor only has 1 weekend of racing after rebuild...... 80lbs oil pressure at cold idle and 70lbs at hot idle....
New: Hooker Comp Headers....(NO exhaust system)
Factory Ford Ram Air Hood with Reproduction steel RAM AIR Plenum and aircleaner...... (I have original flat hood and aircleaner)
Rebuilt: c4 trans with B+M trans kit.....
Rebuilt: 3.50 9" rear end.....
New: brakes, steering wheel, tach and gauges, and alot more.....
Heater and a/c deleted...(I do NOT have them)
Manual steering..... (I have PS system and I'd like to keep the manual box)
Light weight front bumper brackets, they took 95lbs off front end........(I have originals)
It has 14x6 Magnum 500's on the front and 14x7 on back...with BFG tires....
Car has been to the drag strip...fastest run so far 15.20 at 88 mph...and that's with the original 2v carb......
It won 3 races in 2016 and 1 runner-up in 2017
If the car doesn't sell...I'll go back to drag racing in acouple years...
Also have Marti Report and there was 2,800 built in this color combo......
The Paint, Vynil Top and Complere original Interior have california SUN DAMAGE ....nice patina for a old drag car...and there is acouple dents in body...
