1979 XR7

I am looking to sell my 1979 XR7 It is in nearly perfect shape, with 36,700 original miles. I bought it from a friend of mine who replaced the engine with a brand new HP motorsport engine. The engine is exactly the same as the original, but was bored out for an additional 10 HP. I'm still not clear why he felt like it needed to be done, but none the less, it is a brand new engine. Color is burgundy, inside and out, with cloth interior. The interior is in immaculate condition, with no rips, tears, or fading. The 8-track player still works!! The only thing that does not work is the original analog dashboard clock. I am asking $6000 OR BEST OFFER. Please email for pictures. Thanks, David
