Just thought I'd post this here to possibly get a true enthusiast's interest before posting on Craigslist.
Body: Dove Gray with Burgundy top. No rust underneath. Doors and trunk lid have the usual but mild, spotty rust along the bottom edges. The main problem area is where the right, rear quarter was hit near the wheel well and fixed with putty before I bought it. After the $2500 paint job in 2000 was complete, it took
years for it to create a rust area the size of a baseball. All in all,
the car is solid and the paint is still in great shape. Top was redone in 2005.
I have new door and frame seals, but the old ones are still in good shape. The trunk has never leaked either.
Interior: Burgundy vinyl with power windows and dual remote mirrors. Custom Autometer Phantom gauges fitted into the sport cluster. Headliner is new.
Engine: C9VE block -- .040 over and internally balanced with football rods, forged pistons and Total Seal rings.
C9VE heads -- ported on the exhaust side to remove the thermactor bumps and improve flow. ARP studs.
Mild Crane cam, Comp Cams Magnum rockers, Weiand Stealth intake, Holley 750 w/vacuum secondaries and ARP stainless bolt kit.
Ignition is a Mallory Unilite dizzy with a Pertronix ignition conversion. CVR mini starter.
Exhaust: Hooker Super Comp 6126 1 7/8" primary headers. Jet Hot coated. 3" duals to Dynomax mufflers. Tailpipes are currently 2.5".
Transmission: C6 with upgraded planetary gears from an E40D. TCI deep aluminum pan.
Suspension: full polygraphite bushings front to rear. New springs that have been lowered in front.
Wheels: American Racing aluminum 15x8" with 275/60/15 Yokohamas rear and 235/70/15 front. 90% tread left.
I have all receipts showing over 11k invested. Asking $2500 obo. The car is located in the Fort Lee, VA area.
BTW, thanks EJ, for a great site. I've gotten much useful info here over the years, but it's time for me to move on.
