Hello, I need help... my windshield wiper system is very loose (noisy and clunky). I popped off the cowl screens and felt around inside... it seems the transmission linkage bushings are totally missing. I have no idea what they looked like, as they probably crumbled off after years in the Texas heat. The parts store could not help me (as I suspected), and I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help in any of the following ways:
-Description / photos of what the assembly or bushings should look like
-leads on where to get new bushings, or good generic replacements that will work
-or if none of the above, what other makes and models use similar bushings to the 75 Cougar.
