When I pulled the front bumper support, fender wells, ac, out of the front I was going to install some bracing from the fender to the frame. With the fenders bolted to the firewall and the rad-support it was solid so I never did it. Had the vac-can and wiring tied up to the side of the fender, the old bolt holes. Looked bad when you opened the hood and all you saw was the 460 and 2 tires. there were a lot of 302 mustangs in Dallas that wondered how that stock looking cougar beat them red light to red light.
