I ran into an issue, I tried to remove the inner bumpers, but the design is such that I wouldnt be able to re-attach the outer bumper....soooo, out came the cutting torch and I removed as much steel as I could out of the inner bumper. only shed about 13 lbs on the scale (i didnt weigh the whole car, just the metal removed, lol). I need to leave the AC in for about another year and get it re-charged, im moving to cali to attend wyotech...and as you seen in the first pic, that black roof makes the car an oven.
Carpet and sound deadener are already gone, need to replace the carpet at some point, no deadener though. Changing the interior to black, need carpet to make it look good.
Major goals though is I want the hood and trunk converted to carbon fiber. It will look awesome, and shed some weight.
Big thing is, this car is going to be a daily driver for a while, so I cant shed anything that is crucial to driveability in hot california sun. I also have a custom piece i am trying to get made for the dash moulding.
