Drive it a bit, see if it lessens. Also, does it smoke on start up and when you let off the throttle? If so, new valve stem seals will fix it. Do them first, Fords are notorious for sucking oil from bad seals.
I had a Torino that used a quart a week, new seals, lost a pint after 3000 miles.
