Ron, I've never had a car with a vapor lock problem, that really only happens to high performance engines on a very hot day. Have you checked the fuel pressure at the line right before the filter on the carb. If it's 5-8 pounds, then there is no fuel problem, unless the filter on the fuel sending unit in the gas tank is pulling junk from the bottom of the tank and getting plugged up after the car runs awhile. I had a 78 Bronco that would run fine for about 10 minutes, then start loosing fuel presure and running the carb low on fuel, it was a clogged fuel sending unit filter.... Another thing you can try, if the car does it when it's just sitting there ideling, you can run these 2V carbs with the top of the carb off, that way you can see the fuel level while it's running, kinda cool.......
